Hi ,

Is there an easy way to configure product invisibility based on the customer group??

You can easily do that using multi-store shared products. You define a number of stores that display a sub set of the products. Then based on the customer group you point a customer to the correct store.

Coupon codes in KK are used to activate promotions. If you want to use them for something else it's really up to you.
