The Audi Group – with the two brands Audi and Lamborghini – is one of the world’s most successful car manufacturers in the premium segment.
Audi decided to use KonaKart to power the Audi tradition parts store which offers over 10,000 spare parts for vintage Audis. The project included integration with SAP and a single sign on system and was successfully completed in a very short time frame.
“We looked for an e-Commerce Server which would fulfil our requirements for a flexible, easily customizable J2EE based architecture, which could be used in an enterprise context and as a platform for multi stores. Last but not least it should be actively supported and developed by the supplier. We found it with Konakart. We integrated the Audi Tradition-Parts shop in a very short project time with our SAP ERP system using Web Services and customer-, dealer- and employee- portals with SingleSignOn. Konakart could be the core product on which our next online shops will be based.”
